The state Department of Transportation Highways Division has announced the following lane closures for this week, weather permitting:

The state Department of Transportation Highways Division has announced the following lane closures for this week, weather permitting:

— On Volcano Highway (Route 11), alternating single-lane closures in both directions between milepost markers 8.6 and 13.4, between Keaau and Mountain View, Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. daily, for pavement reconstruction.

— On Mamalahoa Highway (Route 11), alternating single-lane closures in both directions between milepost markers 45.6 and 39.5 between Volcano to Kapapala Ranch, Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m.-3 p.m. daily, for roadway pavement reconstruction.

— On Hawaii Belt Road (Route 11), alternating lane closures on Umauma Bridge in the vicinity of Hakalau, milepost marker 16, in both directions over a 24-hour period, seven days a week, for bridge repairs. Speed limit on Umauma Bridge is reduced to 20 mph and vehicles that exceed legal size and weight limits will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis upon application of their respective oversize-overweight vehicle permits. Maximum width for any vehicle with permit passing over the bridge is 12 feet.

— On Hawaii Belt Road (Route 19), alternating single-lane closures in both directions between milepost markers 27.9 and 29 in the vicinity of Kaawalii Gulch, Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m.-3 p.m. daily, for roadway improvements.
