Hoop Dreams won the 12-and-under division of the HI-PAL Click It or Ticket Summer Tournament held last weekend at Keaukaha Gym, beating PGU 42-21 in the finals. Kia’i Apele, Shesley Martinez, Keawe Silva and Kaupena Yasso each scored eight points for Hoop Dreams, which also includes Izayah Chartrand, Umi Kealoha, Fuyson Ogata and Keegan Scanlan.

In the 14-and-under division, Kona’s Shut D completed the tournament with a 4-0 record, including a 52-28 victory over Hoop Dreams for the championship. Bryton Lewi led Shut D with 22 points. Randon Arima had 11 for Hoop Dreams.
