Police are asking for the public’s help in locating a 49-year-old Pahoa man who’s been missing for a week.

Police are asking for the public’s help in locating a 49-year-old Pahoa man who’s been missing for a week.

Yuriy Shvydkova is described as 6-feet tall and 300 pounds, with medium-length partially gray hair, brown eyes and a fair complexion. He may be driving a 2005 White Nissan Sentra.

He was last seen in Nanawale Estates subdivision in the early morning of Monday, June 9.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call the police non-emergency line at 935-3311. Those who prefer anonymity may call Crime Stoppers number at 961-8300.
