Kamehameha graduate Daniel Grant-Johnson has finished his first year as a midshipman at the United States Naval Academy. He plays football for Navy and is a history major, he will be on the U.S.S. Chafee in Pearl Harbor for his first block this summer.

He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Johnson and Cherie Grant Johnson of Hilo.
