The Makery in Hilo will host its first open art show, “The Art of Making,” June 6-July 13, and coordinators invite island artists to enter their work.

The Makery in Hilo will host its first open art show, “The Art of Making,” June 6-July 13, and coordinators invite island artists to enter their work.

The show is open to all media, of any size, framed and ready for display. The entry fee is $10 apiece, with a maximum of three entries accepted per artist.

Bring entries to The Makery at 126 Keawe St. in downtown Hilo at the corner of Kalakaua Street, between 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Friday or Saturday, May 30-31.

Prizes will be Makery credits worth $250, $100, $50 and $25. For more information, email lkane@hawaii.rr.com.
