Born in Coeur D’Alene, Idaho, he retired from Southern California Edison as an electrical engineer and was a Marine Corps veteran who served during the Korean War. Private services held. Survived by wife Katie La Salle of Kailua-Kona; sons Craig La Salle, Jeff La Salle both of Tennesee, Chris La Salle; brother Alvin La Salle both of California; five grandchildren, three great-grandchildren.
