Sueko Nishioka Marumoto, 98, of Hilo died April 12. Born in Pahala, she was retired as a homemaker. Private services held. Survived by sons, Sidney Marumoto and Garry Marumoto, both of Honolulu; daughters, Betsy (Norman) Nakano of Hilo and Myrna (Robert) Klose of California; brother, Tommy (Barbara) Nishioka; sister, Yayoi Fujii of California; nine grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. Nancy Kiyono Miyazono, 96, of Hilo died Feb. 21 at the Hilo Medical Center. Born in Piihonua, she was a homemaker and a member of the Hilo Meishoin Mission. Private family services held. No flowers or koden (monetary donations). Survived by sons, Melvin S. Miyazono and Earl K. (Lisa Morimoto) Miyazono, both of Hilo; daughter, Diane M. Robert “Ozzie” Gregory Osborne, 54, of Kailua Kona died April 16 at Kona Community Hospital. Born in Detroit, Mich., he was a business owner and a painter. Memorial service will be at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at the City of Refuge. Survived by father, Robert (Gretchen) Osborne of Amelia Island, Fa.; daughter, Cassandra Osborne of Marshall, Va.; son, Nicholas Osborne of Marshall, Va.; brother, Rory Osborne of Clarkston, Mich.; sister, Tracey (Bryan) Miller of Brentwood, NH.; a nephew and a niece. Diane Lynn Quenon, 60, Ocean View died April 12 at home. Born in Slayton Murray, Minn., she was a homemaker and a U.S. Navy veteran and a member of the Jehovah’s Witnesses. Private services planned. Richard A. Silva, 71, of Hilo died April 18 at home. Born in Kohala, he was the owner of Silva’s Radio &Appliance Inc. and a member of Heritage Christian Fellowship. Services will be Saturday at Heritage Christian Fellowship (165 East Kawili St., next to Hawaii Community College). Visitation at 9 a.m., celebration service at 11 a.m. Family requests casual attire, no flowers. Survived by wife, Carol Silva of Hilo; daughters, Annette (“BoJo”) Alcos of Kailua Kona, Francine (Randall) Aquino of Kamuela and Aldene (Eddie) Espino of Las Vegas; sons, Aaron (Paula) Silva of Wahiawa and Royden (Danlyn) Silva of Honolulu; sister, Mabel Silva of Hilo; 14 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. John Kenneth Wilson, 65, of Pahoa died April 10 at home. Born in Chicago, he was a truck driver and an entrepreneur of Life. No services. Masanobu Yagi, 91, of Hilo died Feb. 15. Born in Hilo, he was retired as a distributor for Waldron, was a veteran in the U.S. Army and served in the Korean and Vietnam War. Private services held.
