The University of Hawaii at Hilo Student Athlete Advisory Committee teamed up with the Pana‘ewa Rainforest Zoo &Gardens staffers and volunteers for a clean-up weekend April 11-12. Focusing on the entrance way, Vulcan student athletes pulled weeds with the guidance of zoo staff. Here, zoo staff member Eric Craig introduces UH-Hilo SAAC President Jordan Concannon and cross country runner Brenna Halverson to the challenges the zoo staff faces in addressing weed growth.
