A partial lane closure will occur on sections of Highway 190 from Waikoloa Junction to Puuanahulu from April 21 through July 31.
The lane closures will allow Hawaii Electric Light Co. to upgrade transmission lines and equipment in the area.
One lane will be closed to traffic from 8:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. Mondays through Saturdays, according to HELCO.
Motorists are advised to expect delays and are encouraged to use alternate routes, if possible.
