Chieko Kishi, 87, of Hilo died March 7 at Hospice of Hilo Pohai Malama Care Center. Born in Wahiawa, Oahu, she was retired from First Hawaiian Bank, worked for attorney Sanford K. Okura and was a member of Higashi Hongwanji Mission. Private services held. Survived by daughter, Gail Kishi of Hilo; brother, Edward (Pearl) Nagata of Pearl City, Oahu; sisters, Kiyoko Oda of Mililani, Oahu, Lucile Nakamura of Wahiawa, Oahu; brothers-in-law, Watami (Tomoko) Kishi, Yasu Kishi, Norio Kishi, all of Hilo; sisters-in-law, Shizuno Kishi of Hilo, Kay Kishi of Honolulu; numerous nieces and nephews. Katherine Violet Nathaniel, 79, of Hilo died Saturday at Hilo Medical Center. Born in Hilo, she was a homemaker, a member of the Hale Lokahi Catholic Retreat in Volcano and a member and former president of Lanakila F.C.E. Club. Survived by husband, Conrad A.
