HIGA tournament April 27
The Hawaii Island Golf Association will hold a six-person team tournament April 27 at Hilo Municipal Golf Course.
All eligible players must be HIGA members and must have their HIGA handicap index posted by April 15. The first 24 teams entered by the April 22 deadline will be eligible to play in the tournament.
The entry fee is $120 per six-person team ($20 per team member). The fee covers the cost of a $6 bento lunch at Kim’s and part of cash prizes for winning teams and individual players. Green fees and golf cart charges are not included in the entry fee. Submit entry forms and fee (checks only) to the Hilo Muni pro shop.

Hilo looks for volleyball applicants
Hilo High is seeking candidates for head girls varisty volleyball coach.
Candidates should have a strong background in fundamental volleyball skills and competitive program development. Head coaching experience is preferred.
Interested parties should submit an application through the Hilo High main office before 4 p.m. April 14.
