E Mau Na Ala Hele’s annual meeting is scheduled for 10 a.m. Saturday at the pavilion at Samuel M. Spencer Beach Park. The public is invited to attend.
The meeting will include reports of the past year’s activities, including the shoreline advocacy work in kohala, election of officers and board of directors and planning of events for the rest of 2014.
Following the business meeting, there will be a presentation of the 2013 Douglas Tom Thumbs-Up Award to the group. There will also be a silent auction of an original art and one print of the image of the Puna Trail by Christina Ahia.

After the meeting, there will be a potluck lunch, so bring a dish to share and your drink of choice. An afternoon activity will get you out stretching your legs.
