Lia Galdeira’s stellar sophomore season came to an end, but not before the 2012 Konawaena graduate scored a game-high 22 points in Washington State’s 90-78 loss to Montana in the first round of the WNIT.
Galdeira had a rough night shooting in Missoula, Mont., against the Grizzlies (23-10) finishing 7 of 23 from the field, including 1 of 10 on 3-pointers. She added five rebounds and three assists.
Dawnyelle Awa, Galdeira’s classmate at Konawaena, scored five points for the Cougars (17-17).
