The state has seven of the 10 best beaches in the country, with Hawaii Island’s Kua Bay making this list at No. 8.
Officially known as Maniniowali, reviewers raved about the popular North Kona beach.
“Very scenic beach with amazing turquoise water,” one commenter said.
Others called it the best beach on the Big Island, raving about the white sand and waves.
Lanikai Beach, in Kailua, Oahu, topped the list of U.S. beaches. Other Hawaii beaches ranking in the top 10 were Kaanapali, second, Hanalei, fourth, Waianapanapa in Hana, fifth, Wailea, sixth, and Hanauma Bay, 10th.
