Fire officials are investigating the cause of a Monday morning blaze that resulted in about $200,000 in damage to a woodworking shop in Mountain View.

According to a written Fire Department statement, 10 units responded to a 7:52 a.m. alarm after a report of a structure fire in a 20-foot-by-22-foot garage-like structure on Hibiscus Street in the Fern Acres subdivision.

The first unit arrived at 8:11 a.m. to find the shop fully engulfed in flames. The fire was reported under control at 8:26 a.m. and extinguished at 8:45 a.m.

No one was injured, and firefighters kept the flames from spreading to the adjacent house.
