Petra “Etrang” Camero Cabatu, 100, of Pepeekeo died March 7 at Hospice of Hilo Pohai Malama Facility. Born in Narvacan, Ilocos Sur, Philippine, she was a homemaker and a member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church. Visitation 5-9 p.m. Friday, March 21 at Dodo Mortuary Chapel. Wake service at 6 p.m. Visitation again 9-10 a.m. Saturday, March 22 at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Papaikou. Mass at 10 a.m. Aloha attire. Burial at Mauna Kea Memorial Park on Kaieie Homestead Road in Papaikou. Survived by daughters, Virginia (Ramon) Pajo and Rae Cabatu of Pepeekeo, Natalia (Andy) Abad of Oahu, Cecelia Cardines of Pahoa; sons, Bernardino (Julia) Cabatu of Oahu, Jaime (Sharon) Cabatu of Pepeekeo and Elson (Liana Boyce) Cabatu of Hawaiian Paradise Park; 29 grandchildren, 45 great-grandchildren and 19 great-great-grandchildren; grandnieces and grandnephews. Shuji Fujimoto, 80, of Ninole died Feb. 28 at Life Care Center of Hilo. Born in Kealakekua, he was a retired sugar cane planter and member of the Honohina Hongwanji Mission. Services held. Russell David Kalani Kuamoo, 59, of Hilo died March 7 at Hilo Medical Center. Born in Hilo, he was a former welder and machinist. Celebration of life noon Saturday, March 22 at Puhi Bay in Keaukaha. Fabian Toribio, 76, of Hilo died Feb. 27 at The Queen’s Medical Center in Honolulu. Born in Onomea, he was a retired U.S. Air force technical sergeant.
