The Warriors took the first game 17-6 last Sunday, putting the Legends away with an eight-run sixth inning.

Cortney Arruda was 3 for 5 with a triple, three RBIs and three runs scored, and Blaine Medeiros was 2 for 4 with three RBIs. Alton Penrose, Shannon Camero, Kiley Kawazoe, Kele Coloma and Jordan Jinbo each collected two hits for the Warriors.

Michael Inaba struck out seven in seven innings to get the victory, allowing 11 hits and six runs — four earned — with two walks.

The Legends’ Noah Serrao doubled twice among his three hits and drove in four runs. Calvin Uemura was 3 for 4 and Matt Chun and Keian Kanetani each were 2 for 3.

Pitching an inning of relief, Bryce Yamashita allowed five fits, four runs and two walks.

If the Legends win Game 2, a winner-take-all will follow.
