The Wildcats collected 14 hits on the opening day of the preseason baseball tournament. Royce Torres-Torioka was 2 for 2 with two RBIs and scored three runs, and Kelsy Katayama was 2 for 3 with two runs scored.

Zane Gray struck out a batter and didn’t allow a run in three innings to get the victory.
