An “Introduction to Meditation” class will be taught as part of the Zen Buddhist Days of Mindfulness Series from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday, March 22, in Hawaiian Paradise Park.

Do you want to meditate but do not know how? This five-hour class teaches basic meditation principles and techniques.

It is inspired by the mindfulness meditation practice of Vietnamese Zen Buddhist monk Thich Nhat Hanh.

“Regardless of spiritual path/religious preference, we all have access to skills and ways of being that enhance inner peace, confidence and awareness,” said teacher Marty Mimmack.
