The state Department of Education Hawaii District and the EHCC/Hawaii Museum of Contemporary Art are celebrating National Youth Art Month by co-sponsoring the 26th annual islandwide exhibit of the Young At Art Show beginning Saturday, March 8. The show will run through March 26 at the Hawaii Museum of Contemporary Art at 141 Kalakaua St. in downtown Hilo.

This popular show recognizes excellence, creativity and originality in all participating public, private, charter and home-schooled students in grades K-12 on the Big Island.

The public is invited to the Young At Art opening ceremonies at 10 a.m. on Saturday in the Performance Space upstairs at HMOCA. There will be music, prizes and refreshments. Show your support for the talented young artists of the Big Island. Admission is free. Prizes are provided by the donations from Hawaii individuals and businesses.
