Morris Visitor Publications — publisher of visitor guides and custom magazines including R Royal Hawaiian Center, Outrigger, Oahu, Maui, Kauai and the Big Island GuestBooks, Where Oahu and Where Maui, and many other publications — welcomes Kathleen Pahinui as its group publisher. She will oversee print, television, web and mobile strategy statewide.

Kathleen will be in charge of managing the overall direction of all Hawaii media, from marketing and advertising to circulation and editorial.

Patti Ruesch, regional vice president stated, “Kathleen brings a wealth of local media expertise as she has lived and worked in the Hawaiian Islands for over 25 years. We are thrilled to be able to add her to the team.”

Before joining Morris Visitor Publications, Pahinui served as a vice president of account services with Laird Christianson Advertising, where she worked for nearly 13 years. Prior to that, she held positions in advertising, marketing and sales. She serves on several boards and is active in the community.
