Arthur “Ace” Akau Sr., 62, of Waimea died Jan. 4 at Hilo Medical Center. Born in Honokaa, he was a trucking foreman for Parker Ranch, groundskeeper for Oye Construction, and member of Hawaii’s Kahiko Omole Hui. Visitation 10-11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 14 at Imiola Church in Waimea. Memorial service at 11 a.m. Scattering of ashes at 9 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 15 at Mahukona. Aloha attire; no flowers.
