Leon Patillo, former lead singer of the musical group Santana, will present “An Evening Under the Stars” dinner concert Friday, Feb. 14, at Glad Tidings Church.

His concerts are always filled with excitement, humor and inspirational teachings for all ages and all walks of life.

Proceeds from this concert will benefit the Shine the Light Missions Team, a group of senior adults, 50 and older, going to Majuro, Marshall Islands, this summer to assist with various projects and ministry with children, adults and churches in the Marshallese villages.

Leon will sing a variety of music, including rock, love songs and contemporary Christian.

At the height of his career with Santana, he said he left the group with a “burning desire to satisfy those hungering hearts with music that would make a difference in their lives, especially those searching for answers.”

He sees himself as an “encourager, a vessel chosen to bring joy into the hearts of many people.”

There will also be a silent auction, Nerickojas Photo Booth and a performance by the Shine the Light Missions Team.

Dinner/concert cost is $25 for general admission and $35 for reserved seating. Tickets are available at Glad Tidings Church or through a Shine the Light Team member.
