The public is invited to the Garden Party, a benefit for Fukushima Kids Hawaii Project to kokua those affected by the nuclear disaster following the earthquake and tsunami in Japan on April 11, 2011.

The event is 3-8 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 23, at Nani Mau Gardens in Hilo. The ticket price of $50 includes a three-course gourmet dinner with fresh seafood, grilled meats, soups, salads and locally sourced vegetarian options, tea and Kona coffee.

There will also be a no-host bar.

Entertainment is headlined by Marius Stranger and Island Swing Orchestra at 6 p.m., featuring vocalists Rebecca Statler and Elena Welch. Slack-key guitarist Firmin Oliveira will play at 3 p.m. Pianist Annu Shinoya and Friends will entertain with classical music at 4 p.m. And the Roy Kimura Rhythm Section will add a touch of jazz at 5 p.m.

There will also be a silent auction.
