A big night from Pukana Vincent helped Kamehameha’s boys basketball team wrap up a berth in the postseason.
Vincent scored 32 points Wednesday night to lead the Warriors to a 74-71 victory against Kohala in a Big Island Interscholastic Federation game at Kamehameha’s campus.
Bayley Manliguis finished with 15 points and Rylan Kiko added 13 for the Warriors (6-4), who will be seeded third and will face Waiakea on Feb. 14 in the BIIF Division I semifinals. Micah Carter had eight points for Kamehameha.
The Cowboys (7-3), who featured their usual balanced scoring, led 34-31 at halftime. Mikala Jordan (24 points), Kealen Figueroa (18), and Justin Agbayani (13) each scored in double-figures for Kohala. After finishing up the regular season Saturday at Honokaa, Kohala will be the second seed and play Pahoa in the BIIF Division II semifinals.

Hilo 92, Honokaa 70: Jalen Carvalho scored 31 points at Honokaa Armory as the Vikings remained in a tie with Kealakehe for the final playoff spot in Division I.
Austin Dante contributed 24 for Hilo (5-5), which led 48-28 at halftime.
The Vikings will host the Waveriders on Saturday to finish the regular season, and the winner grabs the final berth in the Division I playoffs.
Hilo won the JV game 68-59.
Shyrome Batin led the way with 20 points for the Dragons (2-8), who clinched a playoff spot despite the loss and will be the fourth seed in the BIIF Division II semifinals Feb. 14. Cjay Carvalho added 19 points and seven assists, and Wayne Vaoga added 16.

Konawaena 56, Keaau 45: Jonah Bredeson paced four scorers in double figures with 16 points as the visiting Wildcats wrapped up the top seed in the BIIF Division I tournament.
Kevin Medeiros added 12 points, Pookela Hanato-Smith had 11 and Brandon Awa posted 10 for the Wildcats (9-1). Konawaena can clinch a berth to the HHSAA tournament if it beats Hawaii Prep on Saturday at home to finish the regular season.
Isiah Segobia scored 11 points but the Cougars (4-6), who steadily climbed back after a two-point first quarter but were eliminated from playoff contention. Charlie Belmes and Edgar Ventura contributed 11 and 10, respectively.
In JV, Konawaena won 61-36.

Kealakehe 46, Pahoa 37: Keanu Tilfas and Kalani Lewi combined for 24 points on their Senior Night and the Waveriders (5-5) won their third straight to reach .500 for the first time this season.
Tolby Saito led the Daggers (4-6) with 19 points.
Waiakea 70, Ka’u 34: The host Warriors won their fifth straight behind 19 points from Lucas St. George.
Dillon Rellez added 13 points for Waiakea (8-2).
Brian Gascon led the Trojans (0-10) with eight points.
The Warriors’ JV team won 67-34.

Hawaii Prep 60, St. Joseph 37: Evaldas Vegertas tallied 14 points in Waimea as Ka Makani remained the only unbeaten team in the BIIF.
Kalan Camero chipped in with 13 points and Justas Gecas had 12 for HPA (10-0), which had already secured the No. 1 seed in the BIIF Division II playoffs.
Ben Uhlmann finished with 15 points for the Cardinals (0-10).
