Martin Stanley Oliver, 70, of Hilo died Jan. 24 at Hilo Medical Center. Born in Canada, he worked on the Canadian oil rigs prior to forming Porcine Aqua, Inc., handling ranching and farming operations in Eaglesham, Alberta. He was a proprietor of The Land Office Inc. in Laupahoehoe and Naalehu and was the former manager for the original Dairy Queen in Waimea. He was a member of the Hawaii Island Board of Realtors Association, a pilot and member of the Hilo Experimental Aircraft Association and avid ballroom dancer and “water boy” for the Big Island Ballroom Dance Club.
