The Big Island Geocachers’ sixth annual Winter Meet &Greet in Kailua-Kona will be held Sunday.

Geocaching is a treasure-hunting activity where you use a GPS to hide and seek containers with other participants in the activity.

Anyone who is interested in geocaching, or who owns a GPS, is encouraged to attend this event at Kona Coast Shopping Center’s Food Court at 10 a.m., followed by lunch at the Harbor House at 1 p.m. No experience is necessary, as volunteers will show you how and where to find a geocache.

Coordinators will help guests and visitors in a show-and-tell session to find a geocache, as well as assist all geocachers.

This event is free to the public.
