Volcano Awareness Month continues with an “After Dark in the Park” talk by USGS Hawaiian Volcano Observatory geologist Matt Patrick, who will provide an update on Kilauea’s summit eruption in Halema‘uma‘u Crater.

His talk begins 7 p.m. in the Kilauea Visitor Center in Hawaii Volcanoes National Park. The talk is free and open to the public, but park entrance fees apply.

This program is one of many during Hawaii Island’s fifth annual Volcano Awareness Month. Details are posted on the HVO website at www.hvo.wr.usgs.gov.
