The inaugural 2014 Kokua Kailua is set for 1-6 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 19, along scenic oceanfront Alii Drive, which becomes a pedestrian-only thoroughfare in the heart of the village.

Shop for unique wares among Historic Kailua Village merchants and dine at any one of dozens of diverse restaurants.
Enjoy the many vendors that add even more to this festive monthly event. Then, relax for an afternoon of entertainment on the lawn at Hulihee Palace beginning at 4 p.m.
February’s Kokua Kailua will be Sunday, Feb. 16.
The Kokua Kailua Village Stroll is sponsored by the Kailua Village Business Improvement District, Destination Kona Coast, Kailua Village Merchants Association, Hulihee Palace, West Hawaii Today and Pacific Radio Group.
The program is designed to rally support for merchants and restaurants and remind residents “to shop, dine and buy local.”
