Kevin Darryl Kenui Kasparovitch, 59, of Keaau died Dec. 11 at the Hilo Medical Center. Born in Honolulu, he owned Kenui Aloha Lei Greeters. Memorial services wil be Dec. 28 at the Sacred Heart Church in Pahoa. Visitation at 9-9:45 a.m., Mass at 10 a.m. Please wear lei. Celebration of life will be held in Honolulu. Survived by brothers, Keith Kasparovitch and Cass Kasparovitch, both of Honolulu; sister, Cathy (Larry) Arnold of Keaau; nieces, nephews and godchildren. John Lang Remke Jr., 56, of Kailua-Kona died Dec. 16. He owned Kona Kwik Lube. Private services planned. Survived by wife, Coleen Remke of Kailua-Kona; daughters, Morgan Remke and Helen Remke, both of Kailua-Kona; brother, Andy Remke of St. Paul, Minn.; sisters, Leslie Rennie-Hill of Portland, Ore., Nancy Manafort of Lecanto, Fla., Priscilla Remke of Rio Rancho, N.M., Stacy Remke of Minneapolis, Minn., and Sara Remke of St. Paul, Minn.; numerous nieces and nephews. Charles Langton Roark, 92, of Kailua-Kona died Dec. 11 at his residence. Born in Los Angeles, he served in the U.S. Navy during World War II, worked in electronic sales and retired from Avnet Corp. and was a member of the Masonic Lodge, Kona Shrine Club, Royal Order of Jesters and the Kona Elks Club. Private services to be held at a later date. Survived by wife, Juel Roark of Kailua-Kona; son, Charles (Sherry) Roark Jr. of Ventura, Calif.; daughter, Constance (Ron) Hasler of Mesa, Ariz.; stepdaughter, Linda Pippin of San Jose, Calif.; stepson, Mark (Deby) Pippin of Vista, Calif.; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
