Born in Berlin, Germany, she was a retired registered nurse, former director of nursing at the Ka‘u Hospital, employed in the Medical Records Department at the Hilo Medical Center, member of Chabad of Hawaii and was a Holocaust survivor. Hilo Teachers Handicap Mixed League Bowling Team; and a captain of the Tropical Mix HGEA Mixed Bowling Team.
