Crafts, cookies and concessions are just the start of the popular annual Holiday Craft Fair in Keaau put on by the Women’s Ministry of Puna Covenant Church. “We’ve made it a tradition to package gifts for women in the Domestic Violence Shelter, to support children of abuse, to contribute to missionaries oversees… and to help bring fellowship and love to people in East Hawaii,” said Marcia Prose, co-chair of the annual event.

“We also want to provide an inexpensive venue for local crafters to sell their handmade goods,” continued Prose. Our local craft people will be offering an amazing display of sewn items, jewelry, wreaths and much more,” Prose concluded.

“Food concessions and a huge array of onolicious baked goods will also be on sale,” said Esther Schneider, co-chair of the event. “And hungry shoppers can select from various kinds of breakfast and lunch items from the food concessions.”

The public is invited to shop and and share the holiday atmosphere. There is no admission fee to the fair. For more information, call the church office at 966-9622.
