The congregation of Hilo Higashi Hongwanji Mission invites the community to its annual big rummage sale, to be held from 8 a.m. to noon on Saturday, Oct. 19, at 216 Mohouli St., in the makai parking lot.
The congregation of Hilo Higashi Hongwanji Mission invites the community to its annual big rummage sale, to be held from 8 a.m. to noon on Saturday, Oct. 19, at 216 Mohouli St., in the makai parking lot.
“Proceeds will be used to defray our ever-increasing temple expenditures,” said spokesman Roy Hamakawa.
There will be rummage items — aka antiques; crafts, hardware finds, various sushi delicacies, baked goods, andagi, vegetables, a food concession, cinders and other items for purchase.
“Come early and get the items you want before they are gone,” said Hamakawa.
