Elaine Michiko Denny, 65, of Lawaii died Aug. 11 at her home. Born in Hilo, she was a high school math teacher and registrar with Kapa’a High School. Services held. Survived by sons, Michael (Kristy) Denny, Andrew (Janel) Denny, both of Honolulu; daughter, Janine (Anthony) Williams of Kihei; brothers, Glenn (Hester) Kodama, and Howard (Patti) Kodama, both of Hilo; sister, Pat (Reginald) Arai of Hilo; six grandchildren; and numerous uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins.
