Elizabeth “Eli” Leilani Ahana Kikuchi, 72, of Lihue, Kauai, died July 1 at Wilcox Memorial Hospital. Born in Lihue, she was an associate professor at University of Hawaii at Hilo, sole proprietor of Eli’s Travel, and a Kamehameha Schools 1959 alumnus. Celebration of life on Friday at Kauai Veterans Center, Lihue. Visitation at 4 p.m. Service and celebration to follow until 8 p.m. Casual attire. Private burial at a later date. Survived by son, Ken (Lori) Kikuchi of Lihue; daughter, Keri Keakealani Kobayashi of Lihue; sister, Carol (Edwin) Kondo of Oahu; four grandchildren; an aunt; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Arrangements by Borthwick Kauai Mortuary, Koloa, Kauai.

Teruko Martinson, 90, of Waimea died July 2 at home. Born in Waimea, she was a devoted Christian. Friends may call 1 p.m. July 13 at Imiola Congregational Church in Waimea. Donations in her memory may be made to North Hawaii Hospice. Survived by daughters, RoseMae (John) Watterson of Kapaau, Marcia (William) Yardley, Mona (Walter) Graves and Ernestine Martinson, all of Waimea; sisters, Eiko Murakami of California, Natsuko Ryusaki of Waimea; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
