Two teams — The Young and the Rest of Us (7.0) and Tom’s Team (8.0) — represented the East Hawaii District Tennis Association in the senior mixed league sectionals in February on Oahu.
Members of The Young and the Rest of Us included captain Lorna Tadaki, co-captain Lori Yamamoto, Dean Takebayashi, Brad Kurokawa, Terri Ikehara, Mary Ryan, Grant Yamamoto, Henry Aki, Gerri Hasegawa, Howard Kamei, Carolyn Lum-Bellum, Thelma Merino Young and Ken Hanagami.
Members of Tom’s Team included captain Tom Kekahio, Yvonne Carineo, Grant Yamamoto, Malia Wong, Scott Thompson, Dwayne Lerma, Junette Nakamura, Dean Takebayashi and Merle Yoshino.
