Hawaii International Boxing Club is heading to Oahu this weekend to represent
the Big Island in the State Junior Olympic Championships at Palolo Gym.
Winners will advance to nationals in Mobile, Ala. in June.
Members of the HIBC team are Elijah Apao (age 11), Tehani Apao (9), Ricky Mamone (9), Kamuela Mamone (14), Thalei Kamalani-Manpathoum (12) and Kaleo Apao (12).
The coaches are Sergio Mamone, Kaleo Apao and Puka Bell.
