The islandwide Daughters of the American Revolution Hawaii Loa Chapterwill meet on Saturday, March 16, at the West Hawaii Civic Center, 74-5044 Ane Keohokalole Highway, in Kailua-Kona. The session in the Building A conference room will begin with gathering time at 10 a.m. and the meeting starting at 10:30 a.m.

The topic of the monthly program will be “DAR Insignia — its history, meaning and how to display and wear it.”

The Hawaii Loa Chapter has more than 65 members around the Big Island. The DAR has more than 170,000 members worldwide. It was founded in 1890 and is dedicated to education, patriotism and historic preservation.
