Rebecca Lee batted 3 for 4 with three RBIs, while Kristina Victa, Collen Aubrey, Asha Prithviraj had two hits each for the Vulcans.

Vanessa Salinas pitched a five-inning complete game for the win. She allowed an unearned run on three hits and no walks, and struck out seven.

Janie Smith took the loss. She gave up seven runs in three innings.

In the second game, Western Oregon beat UHH 11-1.

Desiree Villegas went 3 for 4 with four RBIs and Hannah Pomeroy fired a three-hitter for Western Oregon (4-8).

Ashley Nelson gave up eight runs (two unearned) in 6 1/3 innings in the loss for the Vuls (10-8).
