Hilo-based military units will convoy from Keaukaha Military Reservation in Hilo to Pohakuloa Training Area on Friday between 9 a.m. and 10:30 a.m.

Hilo-based military units will convoy from Keaukaha Military Reservation in Hilo to Pohakuloa Training Area on Friday between 9 a.m. and 10:30 a.m.

The unit will redeploy from PTA to Keaukaha Military Reservation on Sunday, Feb. 3, between 9 a.m. and 10:30 a.m.

The convoys will travel via Hilo Airport Road, Kanoelehua Avenue Highway 11, West Puainako Street, Komohana Avenue, Puainako Extension Route 2000 and Saddle Road Highway 200.

The trucks will have Hawaii Police Department escorts front and rear. Motorists are advised to be alert and drive with care.

The PTA Department of Army police are working closely with local authorities and military units to coordinate this activity in support of unit training.
