The state Department of Transportation has announced the following roadwork for Tuesday, Jan. 22 through Friday, Jan. 25.

l On Mamalahoa Highway (Highway 190) in Makalei, alternating single-lane closures in both directions between Hina Lani Street/North Kona Belt Road and Old Kona Village Road from 8:30 a.m.-3 p.m. daily, for roadway reconstruction.

l On Mamahaloha Highway (Highway 11) near Kainaliu, alternating lane closures in both directions between Haawina Street and St. Paul Road from 8:30 a.m.-3 p.m. daily, for bank stabilization.

l On Hawaii Belt Road (Highway 19) near Kalopa, alternating lane closures in both directions between Kahawai Road and Hauola Road from 8:30 a.m.-3 p.m. daily, to install guardrails.

l On Volcano Road (Highway 11) near Keaau, lane shifts in the northbound direction in the vicinity of the Keaau Bypass Road intersection between East Palai Street and Keaau-Pahoa Road (Highway 130) from 9 a.m.-3:30 p.m. daily, for roadway reconstruction.

Lane closure schedules may change at any time without further notice, and all roadwork is weather permitting.
