Big Island Country Club will host the Pu῾u Anahulu Wahine Golf Tournament on Saturday, Dec. 15. The event is sponsored by the Puu Anahulu Community Association and raises funds to support Association community projects.

The all-ladies event is a two-person team, modified women’s scramble using the latest November handicap. Check-in is at 7 a.m. with a shotgun start at 8 a.m. Entry fee is $100 per person, which includes greens fee, cart, prizes and awards luncheon at the Pu῾u Anahulu Community Center immediately following the tournament.

Registration forms are available at the Big Island Country Club, located on State Highway 190 at the 20-mile marker or on the Big Island Country Club website at www.bigislandcountryclub.com. Entry deadlines is Saturday, Dec. 1. Registrations received by Nov. 23 will be entered in a special prize drawing.

For tournament or fundraising information call 325-5428. The public / semi-private Big Island Country Club was designed by legendary golf architect Perry Dye and opened in 1997. At an elevation of 2,200 feet, the BICC is also among just a handful of up-country golf courses in the state and is consistently-rated as one of the top independent courses in Hawaii.
