Lawrence Ceferino Nenio, 92, of Papaikou died Sept. 13 at home. He was a U.S. Marine Corps Korean War veteran, Civil Service aircraft mechanic who worked at Hickam Air Force Base and Travis Air Force Base, where he was a crew chief, member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2333, founding member of Hui Hau‘oli Hawaiian Club, member and former commodore of Solano Yacht Club and owner of the Wahine Loke fishing boat.
