Dr. Ruth Sachie Matsuura, 96, of Mountain View, died Sept. 21. Born in Hanford, Calif., she was a pediatrician, widow of the late state Sen. Richard Matsuura, member of Puna Baptist Church, graduate of University of California at San Francisco Medical School, completed a Pediatric Fellowship at the University of Minnesota and was a missionary in India.
