Nakagawa named PacWest Conference Defender of the Week

CALIFORNIA – Hawaii Hilo women’s volleyball junior LC Nakagawa was named Pacific West Conference Defender of the Week for Sept. 15-21.

The libero posted 23 digs apiece in the Vulcans’ two matches this past week, splitting 1-1 with Fresno Pacific and Dominican.

Nakagawa (Mililani) is in her first season with the Vulcans after previously spending two seasons at Academy of Art (NCAA D-II), who discontinued its athletics programs this past spring.
