Elven “Kembo” Kenichi Iwashita, 86, of Hilo died August 4 at Hale Anuenue Restorative Care Center. Born in Hilo, he was a retired drafting engineer for the county Department of Water Supply, retired proprietor of the former Mizoguchi Sushi Store in Hilo and avid fisherman and hydroponics farmer.
