Police: Missing California man may be on Big Island

Hawaii Island police, in collaboration with the Belmont Police Department in California, is requesting the public’s assistance in locating 44-year-old Chritoph Litschke of Belmont, Calif. He was last seen in Belmont on June 19, 2023, but may be on Hawaii Island.

Litschke suffers from a medical condition that requires treatment.

Litschke is described as 5-feet-7-inches tall, 140 pounds, with black hair, blues eyes and a light complexion. He may also have a beard and mustache.

Anyone with information on Litschke’s whereabouts is asked to call the police department’s non-emergency number at (808) 935-3311 or Crime Stoppers at (808) 961-8300.
