Adrian “Butch” Takashi Iida, 75, of Hilo died Dec. 28 at home. Born in Hilo, he was a retired manager for the former Sears in Hilo, teacher at Waiakeawaena Elementary School and U.S. Army Reserve veteran. Visitation 10-11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 10, at Dodo Mortuary Chapel. Memorial service at 11 a.m. Casual attire; no flowers or koden (monetary gifts). Wallace “Wally” Eiji Iwamasa, 86, of Waimea died Jan. 19 at home. Born in Waimea, he was the retired owner of Wally’s Lawn Equipment Sales and Service, retired mechanic from Kawaihae Terminal, U.S. Army veteran, member of Paauilo Kongoji Mission and supporting member of Kamuela Hongwanji Buddhist Temple. Visitation 10-11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 10, at Paauilo Kongoji Mission, 43-1461 Hauola Road. Memorial service at 11 a.m. Casual attire. Ellen Lee Johnson, 97, of Papaikou died Nov. 12 at home. Born in Fort Scott, Kan., she was a reservation agent for the former Trans World Airlines, state Department of Education Chapter 1 tutor and parent involvement coordinator, Girl Scouts leader, and member of Good News Jail and Prison Ministry and Hilo United Methodist Church. Visitation 9-10:30 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 10, at Hilo United Methodist Church. Celebration of life at 10:30 a.m. Survived by children, Mark (Inez) Johnson of Papaikou, David (Olga Garcia) Johnson of Destin, Fla., and Margaret Johnson of Papaikou; sister-in-law, Lorraine Hyle of Topeka, Kan.; three grandchildren and a great-grandson; a nephew; cousins. Clemente “Clem” Anthony Reyes Jr., 82, of Hilo, died Dec. 31 at home. Born in Kohala, he was a retired iron worker for Hilo Construction, U.S. Army veteran and member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and Keaukaha and Puna canoe clubs.
