The Hawai‘i Keiki Rodeo Association held its second-to-last rodeo of the 2023-24 season on Saturday at the Pana‘ewa rodeo grounds.

157 keiki — ranging from four to 18 years old — took part in the event under clear, sunny skies.

Saturday was the third event of the season, leading up to the finale slated for April 13 in Pana‘ewa.

“We’ve been blessed to have such great weather,” HKRA president Jeff Cabral said, “and all of the support from around the island — Kona, South Kohala — everything has come together.

“Our board of directors has been awesome, everyone has really worked together on this third season.

“None of this would be possible without our board of directors and our sponsors.”
