Born in the Philippines, he was a prep cook at the former Basil’s Restaurant and former Fisherman’s Landing, and member of St. Michael’s Catholic Church. Yvonne Emily Keim Barbieto, 85, of Arizona, formerly of Hilo, died Nov. 11 in Arizona.
